Woman A Leading Authority On What Shouldn’t Be In Poor People’s Grocery Carts

“The other day, I saw a woman who bought a box of name-brand Frosted Flakes because, apparently, the generic kind wasn’t fancy enough for her,” said Gaither, swiftly and decisively calculating that bagged cereal would have cost half as much. “And guess who’s going to be paying the difference in the end?”

I guess this could be funny if the system wasn't so fricked and abused.

OT 10 right there

I don't care about the frosted flakes, but when a person rolls up with ribeye steaks and lobster and pulls out the EBT, I get a little upset. Even better is when they get sacks of crawfish with it. They should be forced to buy nutritional food for an everyday diet. The LA purchase cards are getting out of hand.

I'm a huge fan of the onion, but I really don't find this one funny.
haha...ha? I mean, that's true.

I had two ladies in front of me using EBT cards between two registers then talking about how they needed to go over the Albertson's to get some more crabs because the ones in the fridge were going bad.

I disagree completely. Welfare should be paid out once a month in cash. Spend it on whatever you want.
