Deion was a few years before I began to fully grasp football, but was he an arse back then? I know he was a bit braggadocious and whatnot, but was he on the level of a T.O. or Chad Johnson?
I watch him now, and it really seems like he's got his stuff together. I also think his opinion is one that is highly regarded when it comes to evaluating talent. Also, if any of you follow him on twitter, you see that he tweets nothing but positive things.
I'm just trying to wrap my mind around how someone who was showy and what seems like a jackass back in the day can turn his life positive so quickly while that type of athlete today seems to continue to spiral out of control.

The BEST Cover Corner in the history of the league...Also a very dangerous Punt returner....

He may have boasted BUT could back it up....

Doesn't he gave the fastest 40 time ever? Or was that someone else?

QB's will say "you'd see a guy wide open and throw him the ball. Then, before it got there, you'd realize you got played. Deion wanted you to think it was open, but he had it covered the whole time, next thing you knew it was 6 the other way."

Uhh, see Prime Prep Academy and his divorce from Pillar

He wasn't an arse back then. He was cocky but he definitely could back up everything

He walked the walk.

Only player to play in both the Super Bowl and the World Series. He was on two winning Super Bowl teams but I don't think he was on a World Series winner.

I'm too young to remember prime time as well. Is Sherman's attitude/play a good comparison?

Sherman wants to tell you why he's the best in the league, everybody knew Prime was the best

Was one of my favorite posters when I was younger.

"Water covers 3/4 of the world, I cover the rest."

ETA: And a fantastic tackler.

Woodson could do everything Sanders could, plus knock your arse off.. Complete football player. Deion never forced a sweep in his life.

deion sanders.. my favorite player of all time.

Great GREAT cover corner, blanket coverage. qbs were scared of him. He was a dam good return man, and when michael irvin went down he stepped in and playd a pretty dang good wr role!

not to mention the whole time playing major league baseball also. Only person to play in a world series and a super bowl i believe.
