He's had to change a lot of his songs to a lower key because of his age, but it's like rediscovering his music when you hear it.

If you want to see Guy Clark you better get on it. I saw him a couple years ago in BR and he was not doing very well then. He's well past his prime but it was still fantastic to hear him sing those songs and tell those stories.

Update: John Prine can still put on a helluva show. Probably close to a 2 hour set. Preformed all the good ones, except Inspite of ourselves oddly enough. Good interaction with the crowd. Good energy. JP

I was there, too. He set a six pack on a bar stool next to the mike to start the show. One of the greatest songwriters of all time.

I am going to see him and Jason Isbell in a few weeks. Was Isbell at the show you went to? If so how many songs did he perform?

No some chick opened for him at the show I went to. Can't remember her name. Good voice, nice tits though..
