Because I'm asking if he is gone after doing such a great job. How would you word the subject title?

Meyers is the second best thing about this team after Anthony Davis.

I agree about Meyers, he does a great job for the pelicans and he is doing a stand up job for the playoffs. here's to him doing pelican playoff games next season!!!!

Um, maybe more like that?

This makes it seem like there is a rumor going around that he is leaving.

"With Joel doing so well, could he be gone?"

"Do we risk losing Joel seeing how well he is doing?"

"Joel is doing well. We need to lock him up."

Lots of different options than the one you went with.

Screw you and your mis-leading title! Oh and I Down voted your arse. If I could do it more than once, I totally would.

I didn't realize he had called PBP for so many other teams. I just assumed he had New Orleans ties. He's a great talent and it would be great to keep him around for a while.

"Good idea!"

Career
His professional resumé includes NFL telecasts on NBC, Los Angeles Dodgers telecasts from 1990–91, California Angels telecasts from 1987–89, St. Louis Cardinals radio broadcasts in 2002, Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders radio broadcasts, San Antonio Spurs telecasts, various assignments for ESPN and FSN, and even the Los Angeles Lazers of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Meyers called the 2007 FIBA Americas Gold and Bronze Medal games with Steve "Snapper" Jones. Beginning in 2012, he did preseason games for the Houston Texans with Spencer Tillman. He also called games for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Meyers currently calls Big 12 Conference college football games for FSN and NBA games for ESPN Radio. He also worked National Football League games for Westwood One (usually teamed with Bob Trumpy), but left that network after the 2006 season. He also currently works for Fox Sports New Orleans as the play-by-play announcer for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Meyers is calling first round games for the 2014 NBA Playoffs on TNT partnered with Chris Webber.

I know... it's Wiki
