According to data provided by insurers, only 67% of enrollees had paid premiums as of 4/15

quote:

WASHINGTON, DC – Data provided to the committee by every insurance provider in the health care law’s Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) shows that, as of April 15, 2014, only 67 percent of individuals and families that had selected a health plan in the federally facilitated marketplace had paid their first month’s premium and therefore completed the enrollment process. Nationwide, only 25 percent of paid enrollees are ages 18 to 34.

As of April 15, 2014, insurers informed the committee that only 2.45 million had paid their first month’s premium for coverage obtained through the federally facilitated marketplace

•Ages 18 to 25: 10 percent;
•26 to 34: 15 percent;
•35 to 44: 16 percent;
•45 to 54: 23 percent;

The target was revised to 24%.

They achieved their goal +1. Mission accomplished. Mankind has been saved.

Wow, so they are about 13% shy of what polling was stating in 80% paying their premiums and they are right near where the polling was showing the young and healthy... Which is still 13pts lower then their assumptions to pass the law said

Ya' think if Les Miles started calling 4-8 a successful season that Tiger fans would be happy?

So if they have the percentages, then they should have the hard numbers of people who "Signed up"... Not the created account and put something in their cart bullshite, but the people that clicked submit.

Assuming they understand fractional mathematics, yes, they should.

mine too

Of course, whatever paltry number they get is only after coercion, amazing how miserable failure can be recast as "success" and the lapdog media will sell it like they own it.

I'm not getting these numbers, just can't see what I'm doing wrong. Only 2.45 million have paid, but they say its 67%. So did only about 3.5 million originally sign up?

What percentage of cable company customers are up to date on their billing?

You know, since we're talking about the exciting world of billing - i figured it was topical.
