Hypothetically speaking, this buddy of mine's wife is two to three months pregnant.

If you were faced with this hypothetical situation - would you suggest he purchase a Mother's Day gift?

My ex and her mom tried to sell me on this. Told her "Nope, you're not a mother YET!"

Same answer here

Have a Mother's Day Revealing Party. At this event, you can announce whether you will be giving her a gift or not on mother's day.

Yes, don't be a dumbass. Pregnant women have some f'd up emotions going on. Why take that chance over a $20-30 present?

Or is this some kind of secret "abortion/when is a fetus a life?", trick question?

You don't have to, but it'd be points. I'd get her the hot mom bod challenge, everybody wins?

Yes. Nothing expensive. But a small gift would be nice. And score major points with her.

He probably wouldn't get any shite if he didn't get one but he would get a ton if brownie points if he DID get one.

at her stage, I would buy her a pre-natal massage. Her back is probably killing her and it would be a nice gesture.
