GD concealed carry wait

Been waiting for almost 6 months now. Turned it in the middle of November IIRC. I have one DWI actually on my record, but from 2000, and it has been expunged for a while. I called in February, and they said the Sgt was backed up 200 applications. Said the same thing in march when I called, and the exact thing when I called today. Not a single word since I turned it in.
Wtf is the deal with this shite? It's not like they follow me around with undercover cops for a couple of months to make sure I check out. Don't they just click a couple of buttons on the computer, read some shite, and put a stamp on the damn thing?
I really have no room to be pissed because she is a government worker, but Jesus Christ, do something

Just call again. My last renewal didnt come for two months so I called. They said it mailed....I never received so they sent another that day.

It is my understanding that they just automatically get green-lighted. People with arrests are the only ones who get sent to the Sgt

So I need to drop some more coin for it to be expedited? I was told she was on vacation this week too. If I had been backed up 200 applications for 4 months, there's no way I would go on vacation
