So is everyone just confident Wisconsin is going down?

I mean, we stop the run and we got them beat basically. They don't return much defense. 21-10 tigers. I'd like to go higher but our offense won't explode like last year obviously.

They will probably give us more of agame than we're expecting. If we can't throw it will probably be similar to the Iowa game. If we can it will be more like TCU. I doubt be blow them out but I also doubt we lose.

#buganation scores its first TD against them in the first half when the offense needs a spark

I love hearing what people say in the preseason. Everyone is possitive until LSU gets that first loss, then everyone is talking about benching the whole team and firing Miles.

With respect, that Iowa defense was a veteran unit that ranked among the top defenses in the country. The Hawkeyes were 6th in total defense and 9th in scoring defense.

The Badgers return exactly three players from their defense, and they will be learning a new defensive system under new DC Dave Aranda.

Throughout the spring UW used three-, four- and five-man fronts and brought pressure from a variety of spots.

Aranda looks like a good hire as DC, but I doubt he has the players this year to play defense the way he wants to.

LSU by 17 or more.

I'm very confident. Turnovers and a couple of big plays can always turn it the other way, but it's unlikely.

There are three teams on our schedule that I think have a really good shot at beating us this year. Alabama, Florida, Auburn. We should not lose anymore than 3 games.

Only loss we can afford IMO is Florida. That's it...

I would say the TCU game was much more competitive throughout than the Iowa game. LSU scored a late touchdown with 6 minutes left to beat TCU by 10 and gave up a touchdown after the refs missed a fumble call to win by 7 in the Iowa game. The scores don't tell the full story.

It will be more of a game than a lot of Tiger fans expect. Wisconsin isn't anybody's cupcake. And this is the first game of the season for both teams. And LSU hasn't got the proven offensive leaders set in place. And our defense, end of last season, was improving, but it had been suspect. So lots to prove, IMO, before we just write this game off as a ho-hum W.

We have an entire new offense. I have zero confidence right now.

Does anyone know why Wisconsin doesn't show up on the schedule on ESPN.com, other than ESPN?

I agree with TigersOfGeauxld, those Iowa LB's were something special and that 3rd down package gave LSU fits, even though they knew it was coming. Which tells you the talent level they were at.

Wisky can certainly come out with some of those new starters and surprise LSU, but with that many to replace it's not that likely.

Will be a very competitive game if only because of styles, but also because Wisky recruits well and they will be replacing talent with talent.

And we cam CCC and a pretty established running game. Won't be a blowout, but I think LSU can play smart enough to do one of those "keep-it-close-but-pull-away-with-a-late-rushing-TD-or-two" type games.
