He played 22 mpg bc the Hawks employed a small ball, floor spacing lineup.. Hibbert cannot defend that. They knew going into the series that he would be a nonfactor until the 2nd round

Are you implying that Hibbert isn't good based off of a playoff series? Overrated and overpaid, sure.

How people even thought we had a chance a Hibbert is funny... Not as funny as you "do not want" him if given the option of having him on this team or not, though

I'm just stirring up conversation

Hibbert is a very good player but hasn't really been that amazing for the past six weeks.

Is it an injury he's hiding?

Still better that Jason Smith, I would think.

So he's better than anything we have at the 5

He has not exactly been tearing it up.

There is more to the story in regards to his performance over the last half of the season, I think.

He bad play coincided with the arrival of Bynum and Evan Turner. Not that that is an excuse, but there is something there.

Yes. Still one of the better centers in the NBA. (not that there are any totally dominate 5s anymore)

Way better than anything we have now or have had recently.

Would you really not want to have Hibbert starting at the 5 with AD and Jrue next season?

Will he show up with a good attitude and work his butt off? If so yes, if not he can get the hell on.

You still want Paul George? He's been in a similar nosedive.

This isn't happening, but my worry with Hibbert is that Monty would completely misuse him on defense. Hibbert near the rim is the best defensive force in the game; 15+ feet from the rim is fairly worthless.

The price you pay for an elite center.

I think the hypothetical tossed around was sending Gordon for Hibbert?

Gordon's $14m or Hibbert's $14m?

dude is getting paid eric gordon money to do nothing on offense, be a crappy rebounder, and jump straight up in the air when guys drive at him, which apparently he can't even do anymore because of the scrutiny on "verticality." 14-15mil/year for 3 more years for a one dimensional player who is overrated anyway?

do not want
