I looked and searched amongst all the other threads about this on here and didn't see anything so sorry if I missed it. With that said, how surreal of a moment would this have been if the Warriors actually did this?

quote:

The Warriors were going to go through pre-game warm-ups and take part in the national anthem and starting line-up introductions. They were going to take the floor for the jump ball, dapping up the Clippers players as is customary before games.

Then once the ball was in the air, they were just going to walk off. All 15 of them.

And apparently Mark Jackson knew about it beforehand.

ETA: By the way I realize this is all probably BS but just the thought of this happening is crazy. It would've been one of the craziest moments in NBA history.

Completely unfair to the working man fans in the upper deck who spent ~ $100 on their tickets to see a playoff matchup.

So they would have given up a dunk? No way they would have done all that and not played.

Many people claim the nba had to protect their brand with the punishment today...how would players pulling a petty stunt like that look for the nba?

It would have been cool to see the White Warriors play the Clippers.

There's no way. Sentiment would've immediately turned against them, bc then you're fricking with the fans and the networks. Not to mention forfeiting your playoff series if the clippers don't as well

I was hoping the Clippers would do that last game. Like if Chris Paul was throwing alleyoop turnovers to David Lee.

Calling bullshite on this as well.

There's so many disingenuous people in this situation that it's getting funnier and funnier.

As time passes, more and more people are going to realize how absurd some of the things they are saying and doing over this are.

I love how when the news comes out, Sterling apologists are like "You don't like your owner, then don't play!!!"

Then when news like this comes out, they want to play the other side of the coin

Y'all some damn fools
