Just realized I will be there for a bachelor party the first weekend of the WC in the middle of June.

Miami kind of has bars devoted to certain teams, and then others more general.

Does N.O. really get into it or a little more docile?

First off, soccer board. Use it.
Varsity in BR will be showing everything. In NO I'd say Finn mccool's.

Not sure this is a soccer board issue. It is more a city question about how the city reacts to the event

I don't watch soccer and have never seen or heard about a soccer bar here. Then again, I didn't live here during the last world cup

Not just for the World Cup. Last Sunday morning there were 200 people at Finn's at 8:00am for the Liverpool/Chelsea match.

It is a great place and the only place for the OP to go.

Excellent. I was hoping there would be tons of places to go watch games, because I can't imagine all the guys are going to want to go to the same place every night...I'm sure all the bars will have the games on but I will make sure to check this place out

The Fire Marshall shows for capacity reasons. They will have TVs set up outside to handle the crowd. It is a great bar and BY FAR the best atmosphere in town. Plus, I'll buy your first round. A tradition in these parts.

I don't know anything but I know that of course Finns, BOTH Bulldogs, Cooter Browns and Mannings will be the hot spots for the World Cup.
