Hopefully he can knock the rust off quick enough to get a starting job, the browns are reportly really high on him

quote:

Browns second-year OL Chris Faulk (knee) is fully healthy and has no limitations. Faulk spent his rookie year "redshirting" on injured reserve after tearing his ACL and MCL in LSU's 2012 season opener. He's an imposing 6-foot-6 and 330 pounds but will start the 2014 practice season as a guard. Faulk could make a move on Mitchell Schwartz for the right-tackle job at some point.

Glad to see the guys who take the risk to leave early reap the benefits. Good for him and good for LSU.

I mean he's not really "reaping the benefits" of leaving early...if he were healthy and eligible to be picked in this year's draft he'd probably be looking at a better salary for the next few years than that of an undrafted free agent. Still, really glad to hear that he's doing well.

He probably wouldnt have been healthy enough to play a whole lot last year (and wouldve been a high risk to reinjure if he rushed himself back) so his stock probably wouldnt have risen much higher than it was

Getting an entire year for recovery in an NFL building with an NFL staff, while getting paid and learning the playbook (which has been since thrown in the trash but thats hindsight) seems to have been his best option

You'll never convince some people of this very simple concept

Faulk 100% made the correct decision to give himself a chance to rehab with NFL trainers and doctors in team facilities.

0% advantage rehabbing in "an NFL facility". However, I do think he made the right decision. He was good enough to get picked up and start the clock toward that second contract. These days, as everyone knows, that's what matters.

Dude made 6 figures last year
Will make another 6 figures then year
Then will have another year before he can hit FA at a young enough age to make bank..... If healthy and productive the dude is getting paid

Let me guess, Moffitt would do a better job with him.
