Doing the right thing. He'll be lucky to win back the trust of his wife and family...much less his constituents. Start from the bottom up.

There was universal outrage over Vitter. He just didn't step down from it and he didn't have good competition for reelection.

His GOP challenger the next election was Chet Traylor Trash.
I will say, at least Vitter spearheaded term-limits in the state legislature and shined a bit of light on the Tulane favoritism scholarships.
