Ibarra's foul?

Just watched the DVR and it looked like it clearly disappeared behind the left field foul poll, but I didn't see CPM bitch about it so I thought at the time that maybe it was foul. The idiots on the TV were happy to believe the opposing team's fans, but I'm surprised that more wasn't said about it.
Am I missing something? Did they change a rule? From that angle the only way it could be foul is if it went in front of the poll. It appeared to me to go behind it. Or am I just going blind?

Looked foul to me chief.

not that close to being fair; at least 10 feet to the left of the foul pole. Tennessee fans were calling it due to the great seat they had

It was that far off? I know it landed foul, but that doesn't have anything to do with it and I thought it went over the fence fair .

i never saw the replay, but a couple of people in the Game Thread were saying when they re-watched it, it looked it snuck inside the foul pole
i, for one, trust, and have faith, in their complete and unyielding devotion to objectivity
it was a HR

I didn't know we were taking a poll. Nobody asked me.

I was one of the ones who replayed it in slo-mo on my DVR, and the ball CLEARLY disappeared when it reached the pole from the right and reappeared when it went past the pole to the left.
If it disappears, the ball is fair. If it stays in sight, it is foul. The ball was fair.
But it didn't matter. Didn't have enough pitching to win last night.
I've already erased it from my DVR.

I am a positive guy, can we call it the fair pole?

Had seats to the right of the plate, had an excellent view of it. It was clearly foul by 10 feet at a minimum. Your dvr lies

That ball was so far foul that even Jim Hawthorne could see it.....

It was fair by 20 feet...
And the strike zone...if all the balls on our pitchers were called strikes...we'd a won easily...
And on three of their scores, they didn't touch home...tie game
Their pitcher balks on every throw to first...
Umps are always screwing us...
Jeez...I've been living amongst the Pig fans for too long

It was a foul ball but I can see how it could be questioned. SEC umpires are about as competent as SEC football refs.

Well, that right there tells me it was fair!

No one in left field bitched. That's because it clearly went behind the pole(left of pole) and almost hit kids on playground.

This! I've seen a number of obvious homeruns that were called doubles because the ball bounced back into the park.

Were they standing on a grassy knoll?
