that changed how you saw the world? Mine was going through college and slowly realizing running through the maze was more the to benefit of the maze creators than the maze runners.

I did after a lucid dream once. I just can't remember what it was.

slowly realizing
Isn't this kind of the opposite of an epiphany?
Using that definition, I assume almost everyone had a world view changing epiphany when they went from say 6 years old to 22.

I just realized I had nothing to offer to this thread

Everyone knew that before the thread was even started.

I never make mistakes.
Once I thought I did, but I was mistaken.

Having lunch at a local eatery, I witnessed a man eating lunch one minute and fall over dead the next. Really changed how I see things.

Taking mythology class realizing all the BS stories from Catholic school were predated by common mythology stories made me realize religion is a pure crap.

Yes. Started a service that nobody else offered at the time in LA. I was driving through LSU when it hit me. First week, somebody cut me a check for $5,000 and the first client I approached.

Mine was pretty recent. I'm now 36 years old and realized a few months ago that the only thing that truly matters in this world lives under the roof that I provide for them.

Probably once a month. None of us have it figured out and never will

yep...one day, completely out of the blue, I realized that I am the only person in this world that influences whether I am happy or unhappy...
before that, I constantly blamed everything negative on work, girlfriend, etc. and generally kept myself talked into being pretty damn miserable...
now, I realize that the only person in this world that gets to decide whether I am happy is me. If I don't like my situation, I need to change it...
get rid of the victym mentality and life is a hell of a lot better...

Family and close friends are really the only things that matter in this world
