I want one of these, does anyone know the specifics? What's the difference between a chromebook and a regular laptop? Is it worth the money? If I get positive responses I am buying one this week.

One runs windows, the other can just connect to the internet and run android apps.

Can I check my email and post on TD, and google stuff I need to know? If so I am good. Oh and watch videos and movies.

Chromebooks are great for kids and anyone who is on the internet more than anything else. It will also play movies and there are some apps that replicate common programs. Like you can write a report and do a spreadsheet.
It just needs an internet connection all the time.

Honestly I really liked Netbooks, and do not get why they didn't take off.

I broke my three year old Toshiba Net book only to find out Netbooks are a thing of the past.

I am not sure I understand this.

I also need advice on buying a product from Amazon.
