How much would you realistically pay to see gladiators fight to the death?

To get some moral weight off your shoulders, you can assume they're criminals, paying a debt or actually a competitor who wants glory. Not just one match but a UFC layout where they'll have several matches with a main event.
Would 2k be too much to ask to watch in person? Like $200 PPV?
I remember reading the chocolate wars back in the gap and liked the idea of how they drew "blows" dictated by the crowd. Except we got to vote on weapons. For each person we'd get to choose.
Anyway. What's the most you'd realistically pay to see it? Added bonus. Who would you like to see fight to the death?

If the fights were anything like the fights in the show Sparatcus I would pay $100 for PPV and pretty much anything to attend a live event.

I would not pay or watch. I don't watch Faces of Death or anything else like that FWIW. However, I bet you could charge north of 2k for a ticket.

That's the spirit. Basically sick people like that who murder, rape, molesy kids or don't use a blinker. Not petty criminals or anything.
