When and where can you buy live shrimp in Golden Meadow / Leeville

My buddy and I are taking the kayak/canoe down this weekend. I spoke to a guy at Terry's bait shop Monday and he told me that they usually have live shrimp this time of year but haven't had any success so far. Anybody know of other places in the area where we may have some luck? Thanks.
