I did brisket last week. Chicken is kind of boring. Pulled pork has been done to death.

What is something that I can pick up today for a long smoke tomorrow? Looking for something new and I'm drawing a blank. Thanks for any recommendations!

Tri-tip. Best red meat to smoke imo.

I also recommend the tri tip. Very good for a smoker.

$20 for a 12lb'er. Adjust accordingly for weight.

Just hacking on ya.

But seriously, if you're going to brine a turkey to cook for tomorrow you better go do it right now or very soon.

A 12lb turkey won't be a really "long smoke". Just FYI.

You could try smoking some home dry-aged ribeyes like CAD did.

Turkey or a ham are both good choices. Delicious and you've got lunch meat for the week.
