Which would you rather have and why?
Let's assume the "extras" packages are the same
ie, both sunroof, navigation, wheels, etc.

In terms of performance, Infiniti beats Lexus. In terms of "luxury", nod to Lexus, but Infiniti is no slouch either.
I also like the lines on the Infiniti more.

I agree with most of this but that lexus will stay nice much longer.

I have friends with both the IS and the Q.
I personally prefer the Q > IS in style and performance. The IS' grille is definitely distracting as well

I would buy a toyota over a nissan any day of the week, easily the lexus. They are great cars

That is just a gut call, b/c I would have to drive both. All things being equal, I would pick the Lexus.

Q, but the IS is nice so you cannot really go wrong. I have owned several Infiniti SUVs and they were great, service was great.

Not sure what they were thinking with the new front end on those Lexus models. I prefer the Q50 based on that alone.
