Remember this...

LINK

quote:

President Obama’s first stop on his week-long Asia trip had him dining — and spending — at one of Tokyo’s most prestigious sushi restaurants, Sukiyabashi Jiro. Dining with Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, the $293-a-plate (¥30,000) establishment was reportedly the president’s choice.

“That’s some good sushi right there,” he told reporters as he left the restaurant.

Nah. But I don't go around talking about how some people have too much money... while eating meal that could have fed several hundred people...

Or spending money advertising, legislating, and implementing ObamaCare that could've insured millions of people alone without fricking people over for political gain.

Meeting with a head of state, seems like a special occasion.

And I seriously doubt this is the most expensive meal had by a President. $300? Pfft!

I personally like to take a whole dollop of wasabi to my soy tray. Burn my face off.

Indeed. Nothing wrong with it per se. But I thought liberals despised hypocricy.

Huh? This is basically a state-level dinner. They usually cost money.

And $300 for the best sushi in the world, I'd pay it. edit - Once.

I don't know of any state dinner (quasi or real) that's held at a restaurant that serves maybe 20 people and is most if not all.. Bar style..

It reeks of hypocracy and is quite funny to me.

I don't get this. I think people expect that a President will eat expensive meals, especially with heads of state.

I heard Obama even has his own personal chef. THE HORROR!

Oh shite a whole cooking staff!

Damn these lefties are some hypocritical POS. Imagine if this was Romney. At least be consistent people. Why is it worse for me to eat $300/plate dinners than his worthless arse? WTF has he ever done besides kiss the right arse or suck the right dick? FTMFer.

Perhaps, but one could expect a President who criticizes the wealthy to abstain from pleasures that only a wealthy individual could afford.

So why exactly does Obama (or any POTUS) need all of that? His wife can't cook? If he's busy, perhaps he should use a microwave to cook a quick meal - like the rest of us.

I don't think the President of the United States was meant to be treated like a king. Its supposed to be a temp job.

Obama should have went to dinner with Japanese guy at McDonalds - and ordered a value meal - or better yet, brought a brown paper bag with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We are 17+ trillion in the hole. Its not smart to spend so much money going out to dinner when you're in debt like that.

Anyone who is willing to spend taxpayer money like the Obama's while complaining about rich people and continually taking money from the public, lacks integrity and character.

C'mon man. Do you want the most powerful man in the world microwaving his food. You don't think he might have more important things to work on?

You guys are ridiculous.
