Are there any wild mushrooms available this time of year?

My dad used to pick them off of white oaks and willows. Is that a seasonal thing?

Be careful with them wild mushrooms man sometimes you pick the wrong ones they make you start having visions it ain't cool know what I mean

In really want to go to the wax one day and pick the oyster shrooms off the willows. Saw some kids down there during duck season filling 5 gallon buckets with them. I didn't think too much about it until I saw the price if those things at target!

I have got them in the fall, but that is when I am in the woods anyway. I was just wondering if I could find them anytime.
