I was leaving work on St Ferdinand about to turn on government street and I saw a dark skin man run and jump into a nice BMW that was parked on the curb. It looked suspicious so I speed up. when I got to where the car was two older men where there, one was on the phone and I heard him screaming the license plate number. So then the chase was on. I turned on to government street and floored it chasing after him I was right on his tail but the light ahead was turing red and I stopped and he went through like a wild man and just missed the cars crossing. I saw him run the next light to then get on the interstate heading to North Baton Rouge.

yes it was a cool story ik
but was there anything I can do in that situation. I didn't call the police because the guy already did. Should I have continued to follow him and tell the police what I was doing?

Will Cover says yes.

But calling the cops and telling them which way the stolen car went might have been helpful. Not sure if they would have done anything about it if it was just a stolen car though.

On foot right? This story sucks if you weren't on foot

Would have made for a better end to your story than stopping at a damn red light.

It would have been cool but I wouldn't risk my life doing it. Especially if the dude was blowing through red lights.

Umm, you could tell the cops you saw him go toward North Baton Rouge...
They'll at least know to look there. I'm sure they're focusing their search on south Baton Rouge.

Should have fricking GTA 5'd that bastard, and hit the back of the car with your car. When you finally got his car to stop, you pull him out of the car, call him a fricking dead man, and proceed to kick the shite out of him until his money floats above him...Make sure to get your wanted level down to no stars

this one time in houston i WATCHED a guy bust my window and steal my mountain bike.

i was a couple blocks away and was watching it happen in slow motion..as it slowly dawned on my what was going on i started running...

..got in my car (boiling mad..all i could see was red) and took off after him.

somehow in those 15 seconds the fricker had already disappeared into a garage at one of the nearby buildings.

I WAS GOING TO RUN OVER HIM.

i didn't care..jail..whatever..i was so damn angry.

probably a good thing i didn't find him
