What was the name of the old tavern in Hope Villa?

It was at the foot of the bridge @ Bayou Manchac
on Hwy 73(Jeff Hwy)on the Ascension parish side.

My brother has lived on Hope Villa Drive since the mid 70's and I can tell you I honestly don't ever remember a bar being right there. Must have been a long while back.

I don't recall these being close to the bridge, but there were a couple of dumps out that way. One was Simpson's and another was Mother's Place.
