It's been a great game so far. I'm still amazed when I see Leonys throw sometimes. I'm not that accurate from 20 feet.

Martinez has been a little wild in his minor league starts, but he looks pretty good to me

To me it seems the injuries to the team have almost had a bigger effect on the Rangers defense than the offense.

Martinez is hanging in there. It's not pretty, but this team has been so decimated by injuries. They are giving it a good go though.

Outside of the Wilson error that gave him those two unearned runs, Martinez wasn't bad. Yeah, he put a lot of guys on but he pitched out of jams.

For only his 2nd major league start I thought he did well. Given his assortment of pitches, I like the guy. I could see him being a solid #3/4 starter one day. Of course, this is assuming his issues with control are moreso related to nerves.

He is coming out of AA Frisco. In AA he was very very good, so maybe after this stint he'll be sent to AAA Round Rock as a well-earned promotion.
