best place for crawfish in Lake Charles?

Heading to L'auberge for the weekend with some friends from Texas...did a search but didn't find anything from within last few years

L'auberge isn't bad. I'd drive to Welsh and go to Frey's or to Hathaway and go to C'est Bon... A little further for Hawks...

Are you looking to sit down somewhere?
The drive thru places are pretty good in LC. I routinely get them from Country Club Crawfish, and they usually have the best, or close to the best, prices in town.

We're lacking in that setup. If you want to sit down, Steamboat Bills isn't bad. But if I were you, I'd grab some to go and head to Prien Lake Park or somewhere like that.

Yes. I actually heard they are good, and I believe they're run by the same family that has another drive thru place, I just haven't had great experiences with their crawfish.

I'm honestly trying to think of crawfish places in or close to LKC and I'm having trouble thinking of one I'd recommend. Boiling Point in Sulphur has decent plate lunches but their crawfish was not worth a flip when we had a vendor take us there not too long ago. Sorry bro, wish I could help more.

Again, there are some good drive thru places in Sulphur as well. Cody's and Choupique are both damn good.
