Is anyone else digging the blending of the TV show Agents of SHIELD with the same universe as Captain America/Thor/Iron Man/etc. as much as me?

(I just caught up on my Agents of SHIELD last night)

They didn't have to cross the stories or put them in the same universe since one is on TV and one is in theaters.

That's what the point of the tv show is. It gives you a greater look into the universe and in order to build continuity they would have to mention the Avengers.

Disney/Marvel is also planning on branching to netflix original shows

We'll know it's complete when a character introduced in Agents of SHIELD makes an appearance in one of the movies as an important character. (Coulson doesn't count as he was introduced in Iron Man)

I like the mixture. It was a new agency they started in Ironman. They mixed in Thor 2 when one of the chicks from Thor was on the show for an episode. That was cool.

It does force you to see the movies in a timely manner as they will spoil some things for you.
