I applied some 24,D to my yard about a month ago and it killed most of the broad leaf stuff. Now I have crabgrass as well as broad leaf and grassy leaf weeds. Has anyone had good experience with a product that kills crab grass and other weeds?

From what I've heard you can't kill crabgrass, that shite will grow in saltwater. Really all you can hope is to contain it, and they sell a spread just for this..check ace hardware

it's going to be a tough fight through the spring/summer trying to find a good product that'll kill your crab grass and weeds without killing your grass. The best method is to have healthy, tall grass that won't allow weeds to grow.

- Raise your lawnmower blade a little every time you cut until you are on the highest setting.
- spot apply post-emergent herbicide that won't kill your grass.
- apply good fertilizer that will help your grass grow.
- apply a good pre-emergent herbicide in the winter and it'll help prevent these issues come next spring

What kind of grass do you have?

Tenacity
Atrazine
Solitaire
Certainty

are some good ones depending on what type of grass you have what type of weeds you need to kill.

Forget the big box store stuff. It's crap.

I have bermuda. Thanks for the info. weeds were not near as bad last year as they are this year for some reason. Could be that it was brand new sod last year
