Is the baseball bag too thick?

Each is 15" x15" by 3-5" thick.

Isn't that too high in your opinion and as we see a lot, an ankle turner? Why so damn tall?

1.5" should suffice in all scenarios. I'm writing my congressman.

If you are doing a pop-up slide, you don't need the bag to stop yourself.

I've almost busted my arse at home more than a bag. Home can be really slippery when wet, so to speak.
