I've read on here before that for kids, Wednesdays are a good chance to get to talk with the pros. They'll chat with you between shots. Does the Zurich release practice times for Wednesday's rounds?

Wednesday's are Pro-Am days. The pros are typically talking to the amateurs who paid big bucks to play in the Pro-Am.

I've heard they have a solid line up of walking scorers too this year you can talk with.

I doubt that you are going to have a conversation with any "name" player. They will sign an autograph, but they walk and sign.

It's typically not very crowded at all on Wednesday, but you still have to stay outside the ropes. There's little chance that you'll get to have a conversation with a pro, but if your kids are out there asking for an autograph, it's unlikely they'll be turned down. They may tell you to wait until after the round is over, but you'll get it most likely.

They do publish pro am tee times, but I can't remember where to find them. I don't think the actual pairings party is until tomorrow night, so you may not know until Wednesday morning. Typically, the big names play early on Wednesday, iirc.

Best days are always Monday and Tuesday. Typically Tuesday is the best because most haven't arrived on Monday.

Today is the practice day, and yes it's a great day to bring kids. Most pros will sign stuff and talk to the kids when they are on the course on Tuesday's. Took my son to English Turn when he was about 4 on the Tuesday, he left with at least 24 signed balls.

Well, too late for Tuesday, but now I know. I had read on here before others talking about practice rounds being a good time for the kids, but i wrongly assumed Wednesday.

players don't really want to be messed with past Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday are much more relaxed.

Bubba was cool last year, he played with the Duck Dynasty guys. He signed my daughters hat and took pictures during the pro-am.

Year I went he wouldn't acknowledge anyone or sign an autograph. Maybe I caught him at bad time.

Could be. It didn't hurt that I was inside the ropes, maybe it was just nice to volunteers.

My kids got autographs from Bubba two years ago at the Zurich after his first masters win. He signed for fans after the round, but wouldn't sign golf balls. Didn't hurt us, we had the Zurich program to sign.

Anybody ever go to the qualifier on Monday at La Tour? This year, 2 time US Open Champ Lee Jansen was out there vying for a 3 spot
