Do we keep ignoring what's happening over at Naughty Dog?

Lead Artist Leaves
If there is a sequel to The Last of Us, it looks like lead artist for the first game, Nate Wells, won't be a part of it. Wells said on Twitter last night that he has left Naughty Dog to join The Unfinished Swan developer Giant Sparrow.
Both Naughty Dog and Giant Sparrow are based on Santa Monica, Calif., so Wells did not have to go far for his new job. Giant Sparrow released adventure game The Unfinished Swan in 2013 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The studio is currently working on an unannounced game.
Wells--not to be confused with Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells--leaves the studio around the same time that Uncharted writer Amy Hennig quit the outfit to join Electronic Arts. Before that, Uncharted 4 director Justin Richmond left Naughty Dog for League of Legends studio Riot Games.
Prior to joining Naughty Dog in August 2012, Wells worked at Irrational Games on BioShock Infinite. Naughty Dog is currently working on The Last of Us Remastered and a new Uncharted game, both of which are coming to the PlayStation 4.

Ulty will be here shortly to inform you on what a solid move this is, and how ND is in a position better than they were before.

Big Naughty Dog fan here. I hate to see what is happening to this dev house. Henig(sp?) to me was the beginning of the end.
I really would like to know what the hell is going on over there.

This is BS. What the hell did I buy a PS4 for?

I know I don't really follow "gaming industry turnover", but these seem to be some big names that have all left in a short amount of time from a studio that seemingly is killing it. Maybe it is a non-story, but I know some in the gaming industry are taking notice and are puzzled.

frick. Now I'm depressed.

Also, Wells was there for less than 2 years to pretty much work on one game.
This. He's obviously great at what he does, but it's not like they're laying off everyone. People shift from studio to studio all the time. Outside of a few key staff, I think most view themselves almost as contractors working from project to project.

Kind of reminds me of the turnover at BioWare. Lot of key guys left.

He bounces around a lot, but if you'd read the article he went to Sony Santa Monica's studio Giant Sparrow.
Transferred from one Sony studio to another.
Troll on though.
