Currently have a dual monitor setup. I feel like if I had a 3rd I could be even more productive. Curious as to whether any OT'ers currently have/have tried 3 - did it increase/decrease productivity?

Geologists and geophysicists will often have three screens to have multiple seismic inlines and xlines open at once. Makes it easier to interpret a 3-D cube.

Had 3 for a racing setup, only time I have seen 3 or more useful for anything besides gaming is how they have it set up at work for the people who watch the grid/plant/need a lot more screen real estate to monitor several things at once.

I have 3 at work. Not sure how productive it makes me, but it's nice to have.

Had many 3 monitor set ups for work and gaming. The 3rd monitor really was always pointless for my needs.

It all depends what your application needs are.

What you really need is a 4K monitor. Then you can have four 1080p, full resolution windows open in a single display.

Of course, the possibilities for 4K porn are outstanding, too.

Against rules to post a link, but try going to huccio dot com.

2 monitors here, one for email the other for work/TD. My productivity would go way down if I had a third
