I am bringing my car out of winter storage and one of the mirrors chrome finish is pretty faded. Any products or methods you guys have been successful with? Thanks.

Are you asking about the actual glass on the mirror, or the mirror assembly?

in the same vein, does anyone recommend anyone in nola to do chrome work? I have a great 1950s kitchen table and chairs id like to get polished. but im not sure who even does this type of work. one guy quoted me at $800 to do the set, but that sounded a bit steep.

Send it to Mexico. Seriously. The EPA has neutered the chroming process in the US. Mexico is still able to use all of the "bad" chemicals so their process is superior.

Lol. I think if you do some research you'll find Texas and California companies that sell chrome work....but they send it over the border for the actual process.

ETA: if your table gets torn apart and a condom full of cocaine falls out, don't blame me :D
