any updates on a new NCAA football game?

first i read that EA had to retire the NCAA franchise. shortly after that, i read that EA & the NCAA reached an agreement, but it was a non-exclusive agreement (which was exciting news to me, 'cuz it might put a fire under EA's complacent asses). this was a few months ago, and since then i've heard no news whatsoever....anyone hear anything? or if there's already an existing thread, can you point me to it? thanks....

there will be no ncaa game this year

Hopefully 2k sports can get in on the fun when they finally work something out. They would run circles around EA as always.
