We crushed 20 sacks from Friday through today.

I love them myself, but have never eaten them at Easter.

I guess you could say that. It is Good Friday which is a day of fasting for Catholics but most just treat it as a normal Friday of Lent....or at least it seems like most in SW LA.

As for Easter we don't eat them every year on Sunday but do sometimes this was one of those times.

pretty common at all of the spring time holidays...and as someone else said, it is a good thing to do for catholics who don't want to eat meat on Fridays...

easter is always a little too early for me to eat crawfish, as I get pissed when I pay that much and they are too small...I just wait until the weather gets hot enough for them to grow and the price to drop....
