Little disappointed, Bubba and Duf won't be returning. However Justin Rose, Keagan, Fowler, Reed (won't be following), and Ernie will be there.

sad to see how far this tournament has fallen. used to have one of the best purses out there. now it's middle of the pack, and it's on a shitty weekend.

I dont understand a lot of the hate for the course. I know some holes, such as 9 and 17 are basically the same hole. But overall it could be worse. I played with a member there and he told me the reason the course plays so easy is that they removed 80 of the original pot bunkers that were around the landing zones in the fairways. The course would be much more challenging if they were still there

it's not a shitty golf course.
they removed those 80 bunkers because after the first year the tournament was held there, the players bitched and moaned about how hard the course was.

they did the same thing on number 2 talking about the green being too small to land the second shot...so they expanded the green to allow more eagle opportunities

they ought to grow out the rough just a bit and make it a practice run for the US open. i wonder if that would draw a few more players. they should also add a few more of those bunkers back in.

They usually do have the rough pretty thick for the Zurich.

The course is horrible. Tpc La and Tpc San Antonio are the worst on tour. Course is too long for most hitters and the par 3s are retarded. Loupe should have a good chance with his length. Peterson probably not. But all in all the course sucks and players know it. It's am easy vacation week for players.

Was English Turn considered as bad of a course?
Can TPCL be redesigned to better accommodate the pro player?
I was thinking about bringing my 10yo, who likes golf, down for some Thursday / Friday action....y'all have me depressed now....
