The seafood soup is good. Have had it a couple of times.

The wing and rib apps and dumplings are tasty.

Went there a while back and got the "Lucky Rooster". I was pretty disappointed. Broth was REALLY lacking in flavor, small amount of chicken, and way too heavy on the veggies. I understand controlling proteins for costs, but this was too much. I sat at the bar with a friend of mine, also in the food business, and basically had to beg for service. I haven't been back since. Recently heard some decent reviews so I was thinking about trying it one more time.

Tried it once and wasn't impressed. However, the seafood soup is much better (Enchanting Mermaids . . . just ignore the name). I've had it twice.

Most of the other stuff I've tried consisted of apps.

Wine by the glass prices there are ridiculous. Had a grand cru Riesling from Albert boxler innalsace for $8 a glass and billecart salmon brut chsmpagne for right at $12 or 13 a glass. I enjoyed my banh no even though it wasn't traditional.

I had the Korean fried chicken. It was good and juicy. Nothing mind blowing.

Went here Friday night with friends and had an extremely solid meal. Got the pork dumplings, shrimp spring rolls, korean bbq banh mi, kun pao chicken lo mein, and a special that was basically a deconstructed tuna/avocado sushi roll. Drinks were good and strong too. No complaints on the service either, our waiter was very attentive.

Finally got around to trying this for lunch today. Got the lucky rooster soup. It was one of the saltiest dishes I've ever had the displeasure of eating. Had only 2 pieces of chicken to go along with the 2 also-too-salty wontons. The portion size (I got the small) was still $9 bucks and wasn't all that much food. Obviously couldn't drink the broth due to the salt content. Probably won't be going back.

are the dumplings anything like the chicken won tons in the Lucky Rooster soup? If so .. no thanks. Tasted like msg-laden frozen potstickers.

That's a snoozer of an order; at least for me.

Went last week. First time since shortly after it opened. Got the Po Po platter, one of the buns, and the ramen, I believe.

It was all decent. Nothing great, but nothing to really complain about.

My only real gripe was, we went in about 9:30 and were told we had to order fast as the kitchen was closing. I thought their whole business plan was to be a sort of late night joint. This was a Thursday night, I believe.

Yeah, they told me the bar stayed open and they had some "very limited snacks" they would serve after 10.

Yeah they have a late night snack menu. Guess they make a switch in the kitchen to prep for that between 10p and 11p

Actually, their online menu for "Late Night Snacks" doesn't look too bad. The waiter was making it sound like it was basically nothing.

Oh well. I ordered off the regular menu, and didn't really feel rushed or anything once I sat down. Just a bit put off with the guy initially.

Had you been paying attention to the board, and particularly my posts, you would have ordered differently and been happier.
