Not for me. There are many moments in Singer movies that I enjoy. I can't say the same for Raimi. I can't think of a superhero movie worse than Spiderman 3.

And the anticipation for Iron Man 3 was nothing compared to Spiderman 3, because Iron Man 2 fricking blew while Spiderman 2 was a massive success.

Raimi is a great director overall and Spiderman 1 and 2 are both great. Spiderman 2 is easily a top 5 superhero movie.
Singer's done some great work, including the first two X-Men movies. X3 and Superman Returns were both massive piles of shite though.
I didn't hate Spiderman 3 so I'll give the edge to Raimi here.

Iron Man 3 is misguided shite, but Spider-Man 3 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. However, I lay more of the blame at Sony's feet, not Raimi's.

If anything that movie sucked because Singer chose to work on Superman Returns instead.

To everyone pointing out Spidey 3: it is widely thought he deliberately threw that movie because of the studio's interference.
You can't ignore the first two movies.
Especially as the first one is widely considered to be the reason for the start of the comic book movie genre fad that is still going 12 years later.

Yes sp3 was not good. but the hate he gets for that is not fair in perportion to his track record.

Singer. Cyclops, nuff said.
Spiderman 1 and 2 were great, yeah 3 was bad but I blame that on having Venom and Sandman (ha) trying to share the screen time for biggest, baddest Spidey villain.
