The Voice: Gwen Stefani to replace Xtina

Gwen Stefani's gonna make good money off Christina Aguilera getting knocked up -- TMZ has learned Gwen has signed on to be a judge on "The Voice."
Multiple sources connected to the show tell us ... No Doubt's lead singer will be on Season 7 ... which starts taping in June.
Producers started looking for new blood in February after Christina announced she was pregnant. Makes sense ... she'd be 8 or 9 months along by the time Season 8's battle rounds began.
We're told NBC wanted Christina to stay during her pregnancy but she's having a difficult time already and ultimately bowed out.
Gwen's deal is for one season right now, and we're told Christina has already signed on to rotate back into her spinning chair for Season 8.

I don't know, maybe. I actually assumed it was because of how badly he was embarrassed in season 5. During the blinds anybody with any real talent avoided him like the plague. He was relegated to the one chair turns with a few 2 and 3 chairs turns sprinkled in when the singer wasn't yet aware how useless he was as a coach.
His last contestant last season was Caroline and she went out 2 episodes before the finale. I think he saw the writing on the wall and left before he could get embarrassed again.

I'm good with this. I didn't watch this season because they drop like 5 hours a week for the first few weeks when a lot of other shows start up and I didn't have time.
I hate Christina, last year she single handedly beat Blake by talking shite week in and week out about his contestants while playing up Adam's. Shakira, IMO, is much better than she is and I will give Gwen a chance.

To be fair it wasn't't just Christina. Adam, and to a certain degree Ceelo, were both ragging on Blake hard. It didn't seem like it was bothering him legitimately so I think that had more than a little to do with the show REALLY not wanting a 4th Blake win in a row.
As far as Gwen goes, it's kind of wait and see. As Ceelo found out, this isn't your normal judging job on a singing competition where you can just show up on show night and be eccentric. You are expected to provide guidance to your team and put real thought in how you select said team. If she can do that I think she will do just fine.

What was he doing on there in the first place? Didn't he have only one hit song that was basically a flash in the pan? He is horrible.
