On college baseball live. He's dead to me. It might be true. But LSU is starting to hit a stride.

You know we're gonna be paired with UL-Lafayette so we can play in the Supers...just for UL-Lafayette to not even get out of their own regional once they face decent pitching

Heard yesterday that Rice figured out UL was altering the TPX sweet spots on their bats. If you shake their bats it sounds like little pieces of broken glass inside.

How would Rice know? They haven't played Rice. Did they send someone to Lafayette to check out their bats?

They are a good team no doubt. But I think their schedule is a little soft. I think we have faced a much tougher schedule and we have done well to this point. We have hitters and they are starting to hit better. I don't think their pitching is outstanding outside of robicheax (sp?)

Apparently UL uses TPX that are off the market. Shatters the sweet spot by beating the crap out of them...Once Rice figured out what they were doing, Rice then bought every bat of that type available to start doing the same thing.
