In Kipers new Mock he has Odell going 15th to the Steelers and Mett all the way up to 42nd overall to the Titans.

I like the Odell pick, I could see him becoming a star there. Not a fan of Mett to the Titans though, really hoping he goes to the Cards or the Pats. However 42nd is pretty damn high.

I think Mett may break the first round.

Would be a massive reach for whoever picks him.

As far as Odell goes, I still see him in New York or Carolina.

Why would it be a massive reach? I think he could go in the first as well.

Jarvis to the Colts. Would be a perfect fit.

There's always surprise picks. It's hard for the general public to see it happening because ESPN (outside of JAWS) seems convinced at blowing all the other QBs. To me, in the NFL, I think only Bortles and possibly Garrapolo are better than Mett.

Kendall Wright and Mett would turn into a beastly duo

Because he's not a first round QB. If he gets picked that soon, he's taken too early.

If a team picking in the top ten of the second round trades up into the bottom of the first and takes Mett that is not a reach

Because I don't think he's 1st Rd talent. Also, a number of GM's are going to reach on finding a "hidden gem" at QB in this draft. Guys like Mett,Savage,Bortles,Fales & Garoppolo are being overvalued.

If he's drafted as a day 1 starter he needs to go to a team with an above average oline & a solid running game [Minnesota & Cleveland fit this build].

I can see someone like Jacksonville or Houston trading up into the 1st for him from someone like NE who loves to trade down for 2nd rounders and extra picks.

The one guy [besides Mett] I see a bunch of franchises reaching for is Tom Savage.

Does this mean NE has made a deal for Mallet?

Mett to the Vikings would be a fantastic fit for him IMO

Similar offense to LSU in the fact that they will rely on Peterson but he will be able to stretch the field

Well if they don't make a deal, they could trade down and try to grab him in the early 2nd. If they do make a deal, they could trade down if someone wants to grab him in the late 1st so other high pick teams that need a QB don't get him early 1st. There's a lot of scenarios that could happen but I don't see him lasting too far in the 2nd.

I'm really hoping for the scenario where only 1 of the "top tier" QBs goes in the top 5. Then chaos could happen and we could see a scenario where a C.Ponder/EJ Manuel type gets drafted entirely too early.

Houston-Clowney
STL-Robinson
JAX-Mack
Cleveland-Watkins
OAK-Bortles

Wouldn't take much for it to happen.

Mett has the potential to be good in the NFL, but his knee will keep him out of the first round.

They don't seem like they want to keep Mallet and Tom Brady is an old QB. He maybe has 4, probably 2 more, years left, let Mett sit behind him and learn for two or so years. Brett Favre-Aaron Rogers style.
