Ok.. So the BLM gets the court order to remove the cattle. However, nothing in that order says to destroy water tanks and lines. Nothing about Killing bulls. Nothing about crushing a tortoise burrow...

Documents show the BLM paid a Utah cattle wrangler $966,000 to collect Bundy's cattle and a Utah auctioneer to sell them.

criminals run wild.
The whole lot is a bunch of TPOS that are no better than criminals and have been judged to be guilty of FRAUD, MAIL FRAUD, and RACKETEERING by a supreme court judge.
But no matter, Harry the pederast needs to be PAID.

It blows my mind how anyone can defend this stupidity.

it just goes to show you... it was not about a turtle!

Bundy's friends say the BLM wranglers told them the bulls were shot because they were dangerous and could gore their horses. One bull was shot five times.
But Houston said the pen holding the bull wasn't even bent. "It's not like the bull was smashing this pen and trying tackle people or anything," he said. "The pen is sitting here. It hasn't moved. No damage whatsoever. Where was the danger with that bull?"
For anyone that has knowledge of raising and dealing with cattle, this is bullshite. Sounds like a bunch of trigger happy psychos wanting to do some killing. Killing a penned up bull is pretty sadistic imo.

Now they are concerned about 'court orders' that they have continually lost & ignored?
That rigged Federal court that they don't recognize?
Don't build infrastructure on property that doesn't belong to you.

This. Bundy & his over the hill gang of militiamen are idiots .
Maybe they should have sent the women & children down to protect the water tanks ? That was their strategy to use the women as shields.

I don't really give a shite about the rancher. But this needs to be hammered home by the right during the midterms. Tie Harry Reid to this.
"Harry Reid is using the federal government and federal agents to seize private property to get sweetheart deals for the Communist Chinese."
Then tie every dem running for reelection to Harry Reid and this scandal. Guilt by association.

Kind of a reverse "don't build it and they won't come" but if you do 200 agents may show up with heavy fire power.

If you want to screw with someone and only get to kill one beef, kill his bull. That's the most expensive one in the herd.

Yep. They went for the daily double and killed a second one also.

I don't know how deep the wells are in Nevada, but my well in NM was >250'. The guy paid for infrastructure to make the land habitable for his cattle, and the federales just bulldozed it?

Why would you pay someone $1 million to wrangle cattle? Why wouldn't you just use the "keep what you catch" method? That seems like a colossal waste of money.

Why would you pay someone $1 million to wrangle cattle?
Because Bundy owed them 1.1 million - they needed that other 100K.

Because it's the BLM's intention to pay Bundy the proceeds of the sale. Probably minus their costs of assembling and transporting the cattle.

$966K was the contract cost to round them up and transport them to Utah.
