It's just too bad that very few people comprehend that labor is just another product to be bought.

If you are selling a product and too few are buying it at a certain price, there's no reason to expect you will increase the market for your product if you raise the price!!!

People hate it put in these terms even though every last person in America actually fully believes in it. If you asked a person who demands a min-wage hike what they do when they need a person to perform a service for THEM, you suddenly discover that THEY price compare!! THEN, they realize that human labor is simply a product.

Ha this would be a good subject of one of those street interview documentaries.

"You have to get your house painted. It's going to take a painter 10 hours of work to paint it. One painter wants $100 and the other wants $150. They both come highly recommended. Which one would you choose?"

"Oh, the $100 one? You do realize that you'd be paying him less than the proposed new minimum wage, right? do you have a problem with that?

And the funny part is, the rate of people answering the lower dollar number would be HIGHER as their personal income went down.

Everyone shops price but can't stand it when they're on the receiving end.
