Aahh, he screwed it up.

Fill in the sequence: 10, 15, __, 20, 25...

Not that I give much of a crap, but why does the NY Times feel the need to run an investigative piece on a school over 1,000 miles away from the city it's supposed to cover?

Well, to be fair, I highly doubt the Tallahassee Democrat is going to fully investigate Florida State, so in steps the NYT.

Gee, I don't know Quail Man, maybe because it's dealing with a Heisman winner and national championship team.

When The Times asked Mr. Winston for an interview, an Atlanta lawyer advising his family, David Cornwell, responded, “We don’t need an investigation, thorough or otherwise, to know that Jameis did not sexually assault this young lady.”

Well that could have been worded better Mr. Cornwell.

Heisman trophy winner = great publicity

And the article is obviously slanted. I'm shocked. Although the last two paragraphs were worth the read

Dude,

The NYT is one of the most renowned papers in the world. They are not regionally focused, but internationally focused.

I don't have a dog in the fight, but it's pretty obvious Tallahassee PD dropped the ball on the investigation. You can't really slant that fact.

Because the New York Times, like any nationally syndicated newspaper, specializes in national and international news. It's been like that since at least just before the American Civil War.

I read it. Certainly doesn't make Tallahassee PD or FSU athletics look good. Case was poorly handled.

Good read.

I don't believe they had enough "evidence" to convict Winston, mostly due to the screwed up investigation, but I don't believe Winston is 100% innocent in all of this.
