Confronted the guy. Squared off and shot him when he ran. He should be put in jail. I bet that felon never fired a handgun in a commercial shopping center.

Walmart has about a million cameras so I'm sure it's on video. I'll wait on that before judging definitively.

Need race of both parties before making any sound judgement

What would use consider the threshold of necessity for discharging a firearm in Walmart?

Threatening the life of someone else I guess. I dint see it but what crime is he wanted on? If it's murder and he had a clean shot then shooting him in the arse may be justified. Cop says it was accidental though.

Alabama once had a fleeing felon law. Could shoot em whether they was armed or unarmed.
Thanks Feds.

Not anymore though?
What prompted the change?

What? Why wouldn't the Feds want you to shoot them? They are felons.

Nope. 1984, Feds said it violated their civil rights.

Originally third degree assault, a misdemeanor. But he violated probation, and a felony warrant was issued.
