Just getting into bass fishing. What is the best weedless frogs to use. Where i will be fishing has these huge lily pads and the few weedless lures I've used just snagged them. Thanks for any suggestions.

I find SPRO frogs to be the best, but they are high.
Academy (H20) makes some good knockoff SPRO frogs for much less

Spro is bad arse love fishing with them. The Stanley ribbit is my next favorite.

Not dealing with multiple snags will be worth the money.

Spro and some of the Ish Monroe frogs aren't bad

Booyah Pad Crasher - Best bang for buck
Spro - High Quality
KVD Sexy Frog - Rattles inside
Stanley Ribbit - For buzzing
Do yourself a favor and get the 2 pack of Lake Fork frog trailer hooks

But wont the trailer hooks make the lure less weedless?

Definitely SPRO for hollow bodies in my opinion. I've used the H2O express ones and didn't catch nearly as good as I did with Spro.
For "buzz" type frogs ribbits, rage tails, and horny toads are all good. Ribbits are overall the best to me, but there have been times when I couldn't get them to hit it and they would tear up a horny toad. It has a subtler action.

SPRO. I like the popping ones better.

All you young fellas, lol
If you want a weedless frog that allows you to set still and motionless as it floats, get an original scum frog and put a collapsible foam earplug in it.
If you want a cheap effective frog for casting with frequent or steady movement, H&H makes great frogs right there in Baton Rouge.
Use a Mister Twister keeper hook in a size small enough to rig the frog Texas rigged (1/0) if I remember correctly. Rig it with the hook just under the skin for weedless presentation.
The H&H frogs with contrasting colored feet tend to have the feet rip off easily so buy a bunch but don't worry they cost 1/20 th of the newer frogs.
Also make sure to keep those H&H frogs coating in plastic worm oil. It makes them slide off the lilly pads easier.

H&H black frog with chartruise feet on a keeper hook.
I'm yet to buy one of the fancy frogs and have caught many hogs on the cheap ones.

They're hard to find over here so pow pow has about 20 bags of them in his rod box.

The feet on the H&H frogs rip off too easily. I like the motor oil color though.
I'd rather fish a scum frog than a soft plastic frog though.

Yeah they do tend to come off every few fish but $3.00 for a pack of 10, they do the trick. Might try a different type of frog one day though.

I just started about 3 weeks ago and I've had lots of success with the Zoom Horny Toad.
