Two guys running to first base. One guy is near perfect and scores high in every single category while the other guy is terrible and scores poorly, however both men make it to first base at the exact same time. Who do you draft?

the better football player?

Is Mett going to be in new york for the draft?

He was working out in New Jersey. I know because my mom was in the same rehab facility as him and talked to him a couple times.

Copeland and a couple other LSU players were there training in the TEST facility. My mom made a whole bunch of gumbo for all the players working out.

That doesn't make any sense. If the one guy has already almost reached perfection in everything outside of running to 1st, why would you take a project who can ultimately only reach the same level as the other player. That's a feel good story for the average man that doesn't have work ethic.

I agree. It makes some sort of assumption that the guy who scored high has reached his potential. It's also kinduv dumb to draft a baseball player solely on how fast he gets to first base.

I think the real story (and moral) was lost in the translation somewhere and now you have someone totally misapplying it.

Mett has the most upside. His knocks, IMO, are mobility and pocket awareness. Pocket awareness will come with more game experience, given his story, it's understandable. You could easily say, "Look what he did with only one year with the right coach."

I think his accuracy, arm strength, and style of play all are better than JFF's. I haven't seen enough of Bridgewater to assess, so I won't speak on that. I would take Mett over JFF (for NFL ball) in a heartbeat. Now for flag football, shite yeah, give me Douchebag Johnny!

What? His accuracy is his best quality.

Hell I could be accurate pitching it around to wide open receivers 95% of the time.

I swear some of you are insufferable on this topic.

Mett will be the next Montana & every other QB in this draft sucks.

Mett and Murray have the potential to be the best QBs in this draft. They just have to be put in good situations to succeed.

Yea, I agree with this.I don't want to see him get stuck on some NFL team with the coach on the hot seat or with no supporting talent around him. Seems like the same group of teams are drafting first ever year because they're black holes for talent. God if mett can just avoid Cleveland or Jacksonville, yuk!

Jaws does have to come up with stuff to say, and so he gives out alot of filler, but when he talks from film study he is usually pretty good.
