Word is that since Saint Thomas Aquinas' basketball coach is leaving for SELU, fellow 2016 players Cameron Dantzler (ATH, attended Dallas Nftc) and Ralph Haynes (RB) could leave, possibly prompting Alexander to leave. Just rumors but it seems like the rant would like a transfer.

I was wondering the same thing. Does he mean we would like hearing news about a commit or like that he's transferring?

He does not need to transfer at all. He has the exposure he needs.

It's not about exposure. He would benefit from playing better competition than what his current school has to offer

True, it is nice to see some loyalty though, high school sports has kind of lost that. Really no wrong choice.

I could see that, considering its a private school and they probably recruited him there

Actually he lives in Hammond and legally attends a school in his attendance zone. No recruitment necessary. You being from Tangipahoa parish should know that more recruiting is done in that parish by the public schools due to the deseg case that is still pending. The Majority/Minority transfer rule allows any kid in Tangipahoa parish to go to a school where he is a minority and be immediately eligible. This does not apply to private schools.

He needs to stay put at STA, which is very pro-LSU.

That whole area is very pro-LSU, I wouldn't worry too much about that aspect.

I know a lot more about STAs recruiting than you think you know

Some pro-Bama coaches in the surrounding area schools, but him already being committed may make that less of an issue

Ed is not transferring high schools. Though Im sure plenty of high schools would love to have him.
