Amarillo dry hopped restoration pin tonight at twisted root. Think it starts at 6. I always like trying out new pins from Abita. Just thought I'd spread the word.

I had the unfiltered version a couple Fridays ago. It was tasty. It's called "Make Believer" and should come in around 4.2% ABV, so truly a session IPA.

Good news is they will be allowing growler fills of it.

Growler fills, huh? That's nice.

Just confirmed they are tapping that pin at 6.

By "pin" do you mean a pin-lock corny keg?

Hmm. K. Didn't know anybody used that size. Most of what I see are either sixtels (=1/6 of barrel=1/3 of keg=5.16 gallons) or a corney keg (5 gal). Don't think I have ever seen a half firkin. Interesting.

ETA: After some quick research, it now seems pins and firkins are used for cask ales. Is this abita a cask ale?
