Has SNL really become this dry?

or did they turn a potentially funny skit into a complete waste on purpose, for the good Rev?

I though the intro to the skit was funnier than the skit.

SNL is horrible now. The last regular bit they had that was remotely funny was the Lonely Island, and that wasn't often. There's so much potential for them if they'd only look to MSNBC. Darrell Hammond had some great Chris Matthews sketches, and Thompson could definitely do some great Sharpton sketches of Politics Nation.

The only time I will set out to watch SNL now is if Justin Timberlake is hosting.

Stopped being funny eons ago to me. Each change of casting has taken a step further into Dante's inferno of badness.
